How to use our Bible Lesson Books:
These books has been written so that children can have their own Bible Study book to work though on their own, in a cell group, or with a teacher (Sunday school, home schooling or school), to teach children about the Bible. The lessons are presented in a way that we (a) generate curiosity and grow a love for Jesus and His Word. (b) teach them Bible stories and memorise scriptures, (c) discover Bible Truths, and (d) learn that the whole Bible has cross references of the same themes and values, and it’s importance.
These lessons were generically written with no particular age group in mind, but is very well suited to adapt for any age group. We have used it from 3-16 year old, with great success. We found this especially helpful for smaller Sunday Schools, bible studies and home schooling, where they had more than one age group in a class. The lessons need some preparation, so we suggest a lesson a week.
Who can use it? It can be used by parents, teachers, Bible Study leaders, Home Schooling groups, Sunday Schools etc. When the children are old enough, they can even use this as their own and very first Bible Study guide!
Execution & Preparation: It is of the utmost importance to make the lessons unique, especially since you would have to give your own input. The lessons are only a guideline to a topic. I specifically did not type out the lessons word for word, so that you can receive inspiration from God during your quiet time. In doing so, you, as well as the children, will receive a great blessing. After each lesson and it’s activities, there is a page you can use to make notes during your preparation. On the opposite side, it shows how the child’s book should look like for that day, usually with a black and white picture you can paste into their books, or just use that page if this is your own study book. If you would like to translate it in a different language, please contact us. With everything together in a book, you can even award points if you wish, to give them a Certificate at the end of the series. It is a great motivation tool and I highly recommend it.
Make it fun, informative, personal and memorable so that the lesson will be a blessing to all. Good luck and enjoy!
